We provide training and development services according to agile principles. That gives you control of both process and result. In our experience the awareness of what you need grows with the progress of the development work. With an agile approach you can change direction and scope accordingly. That way you get what you actually need, not what you thought you needed before the development work started.

From this release (7.2 & 4.2) and onwards we will focus on the platforms Java and IBM i.
However, we will not abandon the Windows platform. For current users on Windows we will still deliver
upgrades to keep existing functionality working, but it will not be possible to install new Windows versions

If this poses a challenge for you, please let us know, and we can discuss how we might assist you.

As of January 12 Microsoft discontinues the support for all versions of IE before IE 11. This means that
potential security and functionality breaches in earlier versions of IE will not be patched in the future.
Therefore we will not support versions of IE earlier than IE 11, and we do not recommend you use earlier
versions.

We planned the current Websydian release to be GA at the 7th CA Plex/2E conference. It's difficult to
plan software releases precisely because there is always something unforeseen. Nevertheless, we did it.
The release is ready.
We were looking forward to celebrating our new release with you. But we can't. What we hadn't foreseen was
the change of conference dates, and as we have other obligations on the conference dates, we will not be
in Austin.
Even though we are not there we wish you an excellent conference. We are sponsoring a small cocktail event
Monday June 1 at the conference venue so there's still an opportunity to celebrate. The conference
committee has promised us that they will take good care of you on our behalf. And we know they will. See details about the
cocktail event on the conference web site.
And remember there's still time to sign up for the conference.

Unfortunately, we are not able to attend the Plex/2E conference in Austin because of the change of the conference dates. Still, we want to support the Plex/2E community. We have some ideas ourselves as to how we might do that but we want to hear what you would prefer us to do. So send us your ideas and let's see what we can do: support@websydian.com

If one of the following scenarios sounds familiar, Websydian may be the tool you are looking for.
You (or your customer) have a CA Plex GUI application with functionality necessary to perform certain tasks in the organization. You are not unhappy with the functionality as such. It works but it just doesn't live up to today's demands. It's not dynamic and user-friendly enough, and it's not web-based.
You (or again it might be your customer) have systems and applications built in CA Plex. Based on your CA Plex skills and in line with the existing systems, you want new functionality. But again it must be dynamic, user-friendly and web-based.
First of all, Websydian provides the underlying internet technology as a framework (including security), so you don't have to develop any of the stuff yourselves.
Secondly, you model your dynamic web solution, whether built from scratch or with the existing functionality, directly in your CA Plex model. You know the ropes.
Give us a call and let's talk about your application needs.

Download the preview WebsydianExpress for Java for CA Plex developers to get started.
DownloadWhen the pc and the laptop were the only platforms for internet solutions, websites only had to come in one form. Today everything on the internet is accessible on mobile devices, and that means that now more than ever you have to think mobility. There is no way around it, you have to offer your users the information and functionality they need in a usable form on all sorts of devices: pc, laptop, iPhone, Android phones, Windows phone and tablets of all sizes and sorts.
Websydian Ext JS and Touch offers you the ability to make mobile versions of your CA Plex web solutions. You use the same functionality and backend data as for your website. You simply present the website functionality in a manner suitable for the smaller touch devices. You choose the functionality and data that make sense to offer your users on the fly, and because the mobile design is responsive, the presentation will adjust to the device the request comes from. At the same time, development is easy and simple for you as a CA Plex developer. As mention earlier, you already know the ropes.
Give us a call and let's talk about your application needs.

Download the preview WebsydianExpress for Java for CA Plex developers to get started.
DownloadWebsydian Ext JS and Touch is suited for creating HTML 5 based web apps with basic functionality from your CA Plex backend. The tool provides:
- the ability to retrieve data from your CA Plex backend and present it on a list on mobile device
- "app style" presentation layout suitable for small and medium size devices
- options for editing and saving of data in the backend database
- a set of samples and a sample model for inspiration and direct use
Sometimes a basic web app just won't cover your users' needs. Perhaps you want to combine data retrieved from you CA Plex backend with more complex features like:
- offline support
- integration with Bluetooth printers, image scanners, QR scanners etc.
- storing data locally on the device
- use of Google functionality
For this kind of complexity we recommend a different approach with Websydian. For frontend integration with complex features we propose you use native development for the platform in question (Android, iPhone or Windows), and for obtaining and updating data on the CA Plex/Websydian backend you use WebsydianExpress and Websydian TransacXML which will supply XML based web services for fast data communicationGive us a call and let's talk about your application and needs.
+45 39 66 02 00
Use XML web services to communicate with systems and platforms otherwise incompatible with CA Plex. Websydian TransacXML gives you the ability to receive and process XML documents in back-end systems, generate and send XML Documents and import and export schemas and WSDL - all from your CA Plex model.
Give us a call and let's talk about your application needs.

It's not rocket science. Get started reading these few documents about basic XML, and you are ready to download TransacXML and start the web services development work
