In many cases you wish to use a URL to populate a frame.
The reason can range from simple cases, where you wish to show a header, which just contains a picture to a situation, where you wish to give access to an external application through your own site.
In some situations this will not be a task for the developer - but in some situations it can be. This section shows you how you can make the necessary definitions to refer to a URL.
To make it possible to control who is to be shown the content defined by the URL, and to make it possible to have the URL activated by a menu item, you have to define the URL in the site structure tree.
Use the menu item "Site structure->Site Structure", select the element you wish to use as the parent of the URL and press "Add".
On the first page select "URL" and "New". If the parent is a frameset you will also have to define which frame the URL is to populate.
On the next page you must enter the name which is to be shown for the URL in the structure, the authorization level, and of course the URL itself.
If the parent is a menu, the URL will also act as a menu item in this menu. This means that you will also have to define the alignment and sequence to define where the menu item is to be shown.
Press "Finish" to create the URL site element and insert it into the site structure.
