Complete the following steps to upgrade existing Websydian
Server to Pro or Enterprise.
- Contact Websydian Support to obtain new runtime for Pro or
Enterprise
- In the existing installation of the Websydian Server locate the
file WSYDWA20.JAR
On iSeries this file will be located in
/Websydian/Websydianxxx/jars.
- If the Websydian Server is active you will need to stop all
Application Services and Websydian Server. On iSeries use the
commands ENDAS and ENDWS.
- Replace the current version of WSYDWA20.JAR with the one
supplied by Websydian support.
- Start the Websydian Server, this will fail with information
about missing license file.
- In the Websydian Server log file locate the site id required
for obtaining a license file from Websydian Support. Send a license
request to support@websydian.com with site
id and company name.
- Copy the received license file to the path described on the
STRWS command for iSeries or as described in the Websydian Server
property file for Windows.
- Start the Websydian Server.
