Search for an applet or activeX control that can generate the barcode based on the barcode number.

When searching the Internet there seems to be a lot of Java applets that can do the job. The same probably goes for activeX controls. The only disadvantage of using an activeX control is that the browser then has to be IE on the Windows platform.
