Insert Business Process

Overview

A business process has to be part of the site structure before it is possible to make it available for users.

Having the business process in the site structure makes it possible to control where the business process is to be shown - and who should be able to use it.

Preparations

Before inserting a business process in the site structure it is necessary that the process which will execute the business process and the presentation which will define the interface of the business process is already defined.

See Create Process and Define Layout for Process for more information about how to do this.

It is possible to insert a business process in the structure without specifying the presentation and process (press "Finish" instead of "Next" before selecting the presentation). In this case a default presentation showing the comment entered for the business process is chosen.

Insert business process

The menu item "Site structure -> Site Structure" is used for accessing the site structure tree.

The business process can be used in three different contexts.

  3. Press "Add". This starts a wizard that will lead you through the process.
