Introduction to the Audit Module

The Audit Control module will help you to get an exact view of the activity on the web site.  This is done by logging the activities of the web server programs at different levels.

By default, two kinds of logging will be performed by the Audit module:

In addition, application specific logtypes can be created in order to monitor business functions, e.g. completion of orders, credit max exceeded and the like.

The Audit logging can be customized at all levels.  Logging of the individual Log Types and Event Types can dynamically be turned on and off.  New log messages can be specified as well as selected logging can be done at field level.

The Audit module is tied up to Session module by the Audit Log entity being owned by the Session entity.
