Sites

Overview

With each instance of WebsydianExpress you are able to create and service several sites. Each site is uniquely identified by its URL used to access the site from your browser.

e.g. http://www.websydian.com/express/site/demosite or http://www.websydian.com/express/site/basicsite

Each site has its own set of users, site structure, elements, presentations etc. The only information shared among sites are content loaders, frame names, and the message log.

Supplied with WebsydianExpress you will find two sites:

• Basicsite, is what we consider the basic requirements for a site. It only contains the option to login and logout and presents a "Welcome page" when user logs on.
• Demosite, is to show an example of a running site and the features and options of WebsydianExpress.

Usage

Sites are useful if you need to host several web sites within your organization where you need the following options:

• Avoid the installation of several WebsydianExpress runtime environments.
• Each site needs its own set of users and roles.
• Each site needs its own structure and layout
